Enactus ECU 2016 National Champions

Enactus is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring University students to improve the world through entrepreneurial action. The Enactus National Conference and Championships provide an opportunity for Enactus teams across Australia to present the outcomes of their projects via their annual reports and presentation to a team of judges drawn from the business community around Australia.

The Enactus ECU team, managed by the Schol of Business and Law, spent thousands of hours volunteering on projects dedicated to assisting senior citizens with technology and reducing rubbish going to landfill. They completed against 15 Universities through Australia.

In the final, the team emerged victorious over teams from the University of Sydney, Queensland University of Technology and the University of New South Wales. As national champions, the team represented Australia at the Enactus World Cup, in Canada.
