Enactus ECU Faculty Advisor Dr Judy Lundy was privileged to attend an inspiring and hopeful event on May 6 at which Enactus ECU Business Advisory Board (BAB) member and Director of PRME and Sustainability at the School of Business and Law, Dr Mehran Nejati, moderated an industry panel at the Path to Net Zero climate lunch hosted by the Australian British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC).

The British High Commissioner to Australia shared an inspirational keynote address on the leading role the UK is taking with Climate Change as their number one international policy agenda. Dr Lundy found it heartening that businesses, states and territories are forging ahead with targets and actions on climate change but is concerned that the missing link seems to be leadership from our Federal Government. ECU was a sponsor of this event and Dr Lundy is proud that the University is working towards carbon neutrality by 2030 and taking seriously its responsibility to embed sustainability in the curriculum, research and operations.
