What is Enactus?

Enactus is an international not-for-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring University students to improve the world through entrepreneurial action. Enactus students recruit their own team members, set up their own roles and responsibilities, decide their own projects, implement them in the community and finally each year present them to panels of industry judges from businesses around Australia.

Enactus ECU consists of domestic and international, undergraduate and postgraduate students from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia who have developed community-based projects that consider relevant economic, social and environmental factors, while implementing the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The team has worked more than 930 volunteer hours over the past year and their activities provide experience in project management, recruitment and human resources, communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and networking that often lead to employment.

Through Enactus ECU, students truly become world ready graduates.
