EVENT OVERVIEW

ENACTUS is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring University students to improve the world through entrepreneurial action. The Enactus Australia Nationals Conference and Championships provide an opportunity for Enactus teams across Australia to present the outcomes of their projects, developing and presenting an annual report and giving a 12 minute presentation in front of peers from other universities. One team in each and a panel of judges drawn from the business community around Australia.

The Enactus ECU student team, supported by the School of Business and Law, spends thousands of hours each year volunteering on student projects dedicated to help the community in many ways, whether it be “assisting senior citizens with technology and reducing rubbish going to landfill” or “hosting a Sustainability Festival to create behavioral change within oneself”

PROFESSIONALISM AND PREPARATION

Enactus ECU every year has upheld a stringent standard of professionalism throughout the entire event, reflecting their commitment to excellence and decorum.

Each member of the team dresses in business attire, which not only underscores their dedication but also helps convey a cohesive and professional image to the judges and fellow competitors. This plays an instrumental role in ensuring that they are perceived as serious contenders, reinforcing the team’s credibility and enhancing their overall impact during the competition. The choice of attire has not merely about aesthetics; it symbolises the team’s respect for the event, the importance of their project, and their dedication to representing Edith Cowan University with the utmost integrity and professionalism.

PRESENTATION

Prior to the presentation, all teams are required to provide the judging panel with a copy of their Annual Report.
For the presentation, teams are allotted 12 minutes to present their project followed by a three-minute Q&A session where the team addressed questions from the judging panel.
